Developing/Refining my Ideas
Art gallery bus stop; First I cropped the photo and changed the curves, this enhances the image by changing contrasts and aspects of the photograph. To make the image into the style of Nicholas Gooden, I then changed it to black and white. To change the darkness and lightness in areas I changed the levels.
London man; the background in this image didn't fit with the theme I was looking for. So I cropped out the background and focused on the girl taking a photo of the floating man. On Photoshop I changed the photo to black & white and edited the curves so the girl would stand out in the shadow of the unaware man.
busy road; I used the pen tool to select the cars and then inversed it to select the background. once selected I changed the background to black & white so the cars stand out. I then changed the levels so the care looked bolder and looked more metallic.

St James traffic light; I used the contrast and brightness to change the colour of the trees to a bolder more eye catching colour. Then I edited the vibrancy so the green and red would stand out. once the colours had been adjusted, I cropped the image and opened a separate one. Using the pen tool I made a selection of the car and dragged it onto the edited photo. To add a blurred, ghostly effect I duplicated the layer three times and lowered the optimacy of each one.
car; first I changed the car to black and white, then I edited the curves and cropped it. this is inspired by Ronya Galkas work because she has used a foreground to enhance the background. For example the mental fencing in front of the car.

final piece...
In my final piece I added these three photos together to show contrast between the colours and show movement. The green trees in the first photo match the dull ones in the background of the third image. Also the red traffic light links to the red bag the man has and the maroon colour building. This image shows the movement of the car and people walking, I cropped out the movement in the photographs and changed the opacity when I repeated them
